The Group comprises some 90 amateur local artists who gather to promote art skills, knowledge, and fellowship and to arrange periodic exhibition of their work.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month from 2pm-4.30pm in the church hall to enjoy demonstrations by professional artists of art in framed pictures of landscape, still life, seascape and portraiture in diverse materials including oils, acrylics, water colour, pastel, inks, mixed media and more.
Visitors are welcome to these meetings.
When the weather permits, we do also meet on Milford Green for a couple of hours on Wednesday mornings to paint and chat.
We hold an annual two-week exhibition at the beginning of August in the parish church hall where members show and, perhaps, sell their paintings to the public.
We welcome new members of all abilities working in all mediums.
